Like a good book, once you get into it..... You cannot put it down. Fantastic depiction of the Turks history although artistic licence in some parts is used. It does have a lot of Islamic doctrine but it is part of the story, whereas Christians are tolerated unless they bere arms.....all in all if one forgets the religious side and enjoy the historic side ...it is better than a game of thrones.
