This film sucked. For a cult classic that so many rave about, critic and audience alike, it fell short by a mile. I get there is political motifs and symbolism throughout, but does that negate a horrible script / plot? Nothing really enjoyable about this film, the comedy was lifeless and the acting over the top, including the jarring score. I gave it two stars because I understand it's a creative work and I respect that, just really feel this film is way overhyped. Go watch Mr Robot or Fight Club / Matrix / American Psycho / Triangle of Sadness if you want political satire.

Horrible film, only gave it 2 stars for Keanu. I am sad to see a terrible sequel to such a masterpiece of a trilogy. What made the original so good was the deeper meaning, the philosophy and the relevance to what lay ahead. This is basically the exact same story except Neo and Trinity have forgotten who they are and need “awakening” to realise.. the exact same plot. In a time when cinema is lacking so much depth and substance, this provides neither and is basically a film with fancy acting scenes and not much else. If anything, it is a reflection of our current times. Lack of substance and no depth, lots of wokeism and unoriginality.

Absolute masterpiece by the legend himself. Loved the story, cinematography and score, don't be put off by the run time, allow it to unfold as intended. Based on a true story

beautiful film, really feel a lot of emotion throughout. it's not an action film or thriller, but if you allow yourself to connect with the characters and subtle struggles of the Dad it's an emotive piece clearly guided by the filmmakers lived experiences. great piece, thank you
