While this movie has it's flaws, it was overall a good movie. The pacing of the movie was done very well, it did not feel boring or overwhelming. The characters were developed much better than they were in the previous movies.
Considering how poorly episode 8 was received, much of this movie was trying to fix/explain/ignore what was established in said movie.
