Okay, the Legend of Spyro series! These gems play a special role in my heart! As a kid i really enjoyed the game play, the story, The Past with Cynder...I mean, that was the coolest part right? And memorable characters! Now, from what i experienced...As a kid...I didn't spot the mistakes that people saw while playing the games. Some people argued that the CGI was..."Terrible" and too "Bolded" in. (It looked dark, they looked like clay.)
The facial expressions, looked a bit strange, and a little "Unfixed" So example: In the Sequel, when Cynder looked up and saw dark Spyro summoned, her eyes opened a bit too wide. And in a New Beginning, with the elder dragons, sometimes their eyes looked a bit big...For old dragons. And with Spyro's design...The truth is...I didn't like it at first, but it grew to me. But right off the bat-The CGI...Was not bad for practice, the publishing for this story...Look into the positives!
The Story was great! The button mashing was a bit of a pain to do, but that was the point of performing combos and creating techniques-Like the old style Mortal Combat button mashing- Get's you into that quick jabbing combat to defeat the enemies!
Old style stuff, was full on-But the game had potential! Now secondly, the characters! I'd say thast each one were fine, like the Reignited Trilogy...With unique design and personality-The Elders patterns and color... I do agree that the text was a bit slow, and repetitive from the tutorial playthrough of the game. But as time went on...Id say that the cutscenes was very good, because of the development in it-The concept art...And the best part was the music!
Absolutely loved it! It sounded very majestic and beautiful in it's own way! This game gave me a lot of memories as a child. So, to wrap this up...In the sequel, and last game...The cutscenes get even better, the back ground with Spyro get's even stronger. Very well written with receiving the powers, after a tough battle with Cinder-And Lastly...Dark Spyro! A good recommendation to play this awesome TLOS series!
