I enjoyed this movie, even though tethering this movie to other lbgtq movies with fateful endings, this period piece movie was a thoughtful, tender movie in a time that I can't even imagine existing in as a female in the late 1800's. As an artist, I enjoyed the emotional landscape of what was presented about love , taboo and the very under stirring of complex connection. I enjoyed some of the professional criticism of this movie as well, mostly anyone who seemed sad that football season was over and their team didn't win, they completely missed the point of the movie.
