Terrific action flick gives us a new take on the franchise and sets up a sequel. Elle Fanning is excellent in a dual role of good and evil sisters. There is humor and affection such as the predator learning the role of a wolf and how he comes to be a protector. Special effects are first rate. There is a decent story here.

The movie deals with a group of neurotic academics, none of whom seem very happy in their lives. The core subject is an alleged sexual assault which the film never fully resolves. The score is annoying at times as are the characters. Roberts is o.k. in the lead role of a driven philosophy professor who is concealing a medical problem that eventually sabotages her career. Not a happy film that never seems to get off the ground.

Fast paced, quirky film about left wing terrorists trying to help and protect undocumented migrants from government police with white supremacy in the background. Masterful direction and editing with a superb performance from Dicaprio. I liked the casting especially the newcomer, Infinity.

The first two/thirds of this interesting film are excellent, but the end game double cross and chase scenes are standard fare with a somewhat confusing outcome. Good performances and taut direction from MacKenzie. He makes good use of New York City as the backdrop for this movie. I also liked tⁿhe soundtrack which held the film's pace nicely.

One of my favorite films and I think the best movie of 1972 shot on location on the Chattooga River in Georgia. While The Godfather was an impressive production that year with excellent performances, Deliverance had an impressive ensemble of actors and more to say. As in masculinity, violence, paranoia, conservation, and human values. Beatty 's performance in his first movie is one of the most courageous ever filmed.

Weird story about a witch that comes to town and wreaks havoc. Good cast. Getting very good reviews. Perhaps a little overrated but worth a couple of hours.2

A well acted and directed movie about interpersonal boundaries and the difficulty humans have establishing and maintaining them. It was reviewed as a horror/comedy film but I didn't see it that way. Just two people in love for a long time trying to find each other.

Racing fans will enjoy the various action sequences, though not being familiar with F1, I didn't always understand the race tactics.The story is benign as no character in the movie is allowed to be very interesting, though I enjoyed the female lead. Bardem was good, too. Pitt was o.k. but he's been better. I enjoyed Ford vs Ferrari more. Better script plus Damon and Bale had better chemistry.

The final slog in this series is an overly long, sometimes confusing melodrama in which the hero, with the help of his intrepid IMF team, saves humanity from nuclear destruction by a matter of seconds. Featuring the usual action sequences and superficial buddy feelings.Time for Tom to put this horse to pasture. It's made him a fortune.

A somewhat uneven vampire movie that seems more like a zombie flick. The best part is the music, and if you like the blues this film is for you.
