Wasted my precious 90 minutes on this and I'm not pleased. The 'supposedly' jump-scare was predictable, alot of the camera works used just don't have any meaning, too many plotholes, the story's progress is super-slow (like, the action or suspense only starts from 30 minutes toward the ending), too many scenes being built for no apparent reason/purpose, and a really bad cliffhanger.
Until the end of the movie, I still dont understand whether the neighbour, Martha, is actually just an old lady with Alzheimer who is harmless, which actually just makes her an unnecessary character who doesn't even need to exist in the story in the first place, or why Chris was suspiciously shown like he's the killer when he tried to go to the basement, or why they didn't show us the killer's face or give a slightest idea about why he killed them.
I thought that Martha lady might be just pretending to have Alzheimer, lying to people, including the plumber that her husband died, while he actually is still pretty much alive and is the killer, thus making her his partner in crime. I was looking for the answer at the end, but was left with a stupid and bad ending instead.
The only reason why I watched this in the first place is because Dylan is in it. But I've watched alot of suspense/ thriller movies, and am not sorry to say that by far, this movie is the worst.
