As a professional pianist my entire career, I obviously found a lot to relate to with elements such as Don Shirley's assessment of balancing a personal life versus constant traveling to perform from city to city. And it's very important to revisit the racism of that period, and that has still existed in many areas of our country, especially in this current political climate we find ourselves in. The movie was entertaining from start to finish, and the bonding that we watch unfolding between the two actors seemed real to me and proved to be quite moving during many scenes. The best chemistry between two male actors that I've seen this year so far. I laughed throughout and shed a few tears as well. And it even had a Christmas ending, perfect for the holidays. I'd give it a 10 out of 10.
