Im a big fan of the avant garde, and a huge fan of John Cage. I pride myself on my ability to decipher hidden meanings in movies and music, this album however is quite perplexing, the musical portions have incredibly high production value. This album in particular is much closer to standard music then most of the noise compilations that tend to pop up in the avant garde scene, arto lindsay, john zorn, lee ranaldo, ann magnuson who were big proponents of the experimental scene during the early eighties to the late nineties, also featuring an incredibly unexpected guest joey ramone from the ramones, who pops up on the wonderful widow of eighteen springs. All in all a beautiful album and a great homage to the master himself John Cage.
