Do not listen to the so-called professional critics. Tom Hanks does more for the character development of Captain Krause in ninety minutes than any other actor alive could do in twice that time. He conveys the strength, humility, compassion, complexity, and wisdom of a fictional character so brilliantly that our leadership-starved souls filled with hope, that yet another Greatest Generation could rise up and protect our nation and our world from evil. The pace and drama kept me on the edge of my seat. Thank you Apple TV for delivering this gem to our homes in the midst of Covid-19.
