I loved this book SOOO MUCH!!! it was really fun and interesting to read and it was awesome to have characters who were not white. As a white person myself I would notice myself seeing the characters as white and then would realize and have to correct it in my brain. It really made me think about the whitewashed-ness of everything I watch or read as a middle schooler and the racism that is automatically part of me through society and public school in the US whether or not I acknowledge it. Super good book, fun story, and a nice message! If anyone is thinking about reading it you should!!!
