A sadly gimmicky storyline. This has the makings of a innovative thought-provoking sci fi epic that unfortunately falls short. There is nothing to be gained from preserving with the series; the cliffhangers keep coming without reason. When will these sorts of tv shows end? Do writers not realise that if the story is worth telling, then the views will continue? Perhaps those involved in this should focus more on ideas and less on caricatures. Some good acting from Turturro and Lower but the script let them down.

I think that many movies have such excellent subtle humour throughout actually. I enjoyed the wigs and would have given an extra 1/2 star for costume.
