YOUR CREATOR CAMPAIGN GOT THE VIEWS. BUT WILL IT STILL BE FOUND WHEN SOMEONE IS READY TO BOOK? A hotel can partner with a creator, receive beautiful content and generate thousands of views, saves and comments. But most people seeing that content are scrolling, not actively planning a trip. Months later, when they are ready to visit San Francisco, their behavior changes. Now they are searching for hotels, restaurants and things to do through Google, Instagram, TikTok and AI powered discovery. Can the creator content your hotel invested in still be found at that moment? Virality creates immediate awareness. Search and AI visibility can keep that story discoverable until the traveler is ready to act. My hybrid creator model is designed to deliver both. That is the creator value I believe hospitality should be measuring. I am also part of TikTok GO, where eligible travel content generates booking commissions, connecting searchable content with actual travel intent. Views create awaren

YOUR RESTAURANT DOESN’T NEED MORE VIEWS. IT NEEDS MORE DINERS. Restaurants host creators hoping beautiful content will lead to discovery, reservations and lasting recognition. Too often, the feature performs for a few days, grows the creator’s audience and then disappears into the feed. How does your restaurant remain discoverable when someone later searches for a date night restaurant, a special occasion, a specific cuisine or the best places to eat in San Francisco? The real opportunity is reaching diners who never followed the creator but can still find your restaurant through their indexed work. A creator’s reach can introduce the experience. Their digital authority determines whether it remains connected to your restaurant after the post. This matters for restaurants pursuing stronger local recognition, consistent reservations and even Michelin ambition. Diners increasingly use Google and AI search to decide where to eat. If the coverage is not indexed, attributed and connect

Sometimes you just need a little escape, and for three days, I found mine at the stunning @ritzcarltonhmb 🌊✨ My ocean-view suite came with its own cozy fire pit where I could watch the waves crash below—absolute bliss. 🔥🐾 This dog-friendly retreat made it easy for me and @einstein.the.yorkie to enjoy morning walks along the coastal trails and cozy evenings by the fire. 🐶🌿 @ritzcartonhmb feels like California’s version of Scotland, with dramatic cliffs, rolling greens, and even a bagpiper at sunset! 🎶 From the spa to the golf course and incredible dining, everything here feels so special. 🛁🏌️♀️🍽️ It’s no wonder @ritzcarltonhmb is a @forbestravelguide Five-Star resort. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Whether it was sipping wine by the fire, soaking in the views, or making memories with @einstein.the.yorkie, this was the getaway I didn’t know I needed. 🍷🐾🌅 Trust me, this spot is a dream. ✨💭 Where’s your favorite place to escape? Some people spend their careers commanding the runway. Others help the next generation find their place on it. For more than four decades, @charlestonpierce has helped shape San Francisco’s fashion scene. From his career as a Black male runway model to working alongside Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, and Tyra Banks during the celebrated Macy’s Passport era, his story spans generations of fashion history. But what makes his story compelling isn’t the famous faces or glamorous runways. It’s what he chose to do with that experience. As a creative director, model coach, and author of Star Walk, Charleston helps emerging talent develop confidence, individuality, and professionalism. With Vogue World coming to San Francisco in 2027, he hopes the international spotlight creates lasting opportunities for local designers and models, not just one spectacular evening. His career has come full circle, from finding his own way into fashion to opening doors for others. Read my full intervi

THE ULTIMATE PET-FRIENDLY STAYCATION ✨ A little fall inspiration from an afternoon out with @einstein.the.yorkie 🍂 ——— Einstein thinks every hotel door is an invitation. At four pounds, he can’t see past the wooden panel at the bottom. So he stands on his back legs, rests his little paws against the door and peeks through the glass. Then he looks back at me as if to say, “Mama, let’s go in this one.” I usually let him choose the detour. Our afternoon walk brought us inside Hotel Zeppelin San Francisco, decorated with pumpkins and autumn flowers. The staff greeted @einstein.the.yorkie and he investigated the new smells. Downstairs, a peace sign made from license plates caught my eye. We stopped at PLS on Post for a burger, fries and a strawberry shake. Einstein had a little puppuccino and a few bites of burger prepared without onions. He sat quietly, waiting for his share. We took our time before continuing our walk. As a local creator, I find that familiar streets still hold som

Comment “SIX FIGURES” and I’ll send you my FREE GUIDE. YOU KNOW YOU’RE A GOOD CREATOR. That’s why it gets a little ridiculous when your calendar looks like this… 🏆 Red Carpet Premiere 🏆 Luxury Dinner 🏆 Restaurant Opening 🏆 VIP Brand Launch 🏆 Complimentary Matcha And somehow your compensation looks like… $0. Somewhere along the way, creators were taught that getting invited into the room was the payment. So you put on the outfit. You Uber across San Francisco. You shoot the content. You edit the reel. You post three stories. You tag everyone involved. And your compensation? A free matcha and “exposure.” Meanwhile, your San Francisco rent would like a word. Here’s the shift. Getting invited proves you have access. Getting paid requires showing your value. Brands don’t pay creators simply because they can make another beautiful reel. They pay for value they can understand. Audience. Distribution. Content assets. Search visibility. Editorial value. Brand positioning. Trust. Cultu

A BEAUTIFUL PHOTO CAN MAKE YOU PAUSE. A MEANINGFUL STORY CAN MAKE YOU WANT TO VISIT 🖼️ 🎨 I love getting dressed for a museum afternoon. But the outfit is only one part of the experience. What am I looking at? What caught my attention? Why would I recommend spending your afternoon here? That is where editorial storytelling adds value to a creator partnership. Museums have collections, exhibitions and stories that deserve more than a passing mention behind someone’s outfit. A creator can bring those stories to a new audience through thoughtful photography, personal perspective and useful information that helps people plan a visit. In my latest blog, I explore why museums need more than influencer visibility and what a deeper creator partnership can offer. YES, I’M 55! ❤️ I recently received an email from Famous Birthdays saying their database showed people were searching for my age, but they didn’t have my birthday. They asked me to provide it so they could create my profile. And just like that, at 55, I became a Famous Birthdays Instagram Star. 😂 Which brings me to the question I get all the time. What do I actually do for my skin? So, what’s my beauty secret? I’ve been using the NIRA laser for years as a proud long-time partner, and I rely on both the Precision and Pro models. It takes just two minutes a day. It’s really as easy as brushing your teeth. I am so grateful to be featured in Bay Area Women Magazine! When I launched SincerelySusye.com in 2024, my goal was to build a modern luxury editorial platform dedicated to San Francisco hospitality, travel, fashion, and wellness. As the digital landscape has evolved, so has our ecosystem. Today, SincerelySusye operates as an AI-indexed brand optimized across 14 AI search engines through advanced structured data and Generative Engine Optimization, making sure that local, independent Bay Area storytelling keeps pace with how people discover content today. What makes this feature extra special is that it also recognizes the creators and community leaders I’ve had the privilege of interviewing through my Voices Shaping Culture series. Spotlighting the brilliant minds shaping our city’s creative fabric has been such a rewarding part of this journey, and seeing their impact acknowledged alongside mine means the world. Thank you to Bay Area Women Magazine for this wonderful feature and fo

MY FIRST BAY AREA SOCCER MATCH WITH MARSHAWN LYNCH AND FESTUS EZELI ⚽️❤️ I grew up in Brazil, where soccer could practically shut down the country. My family owned a factory in São Paulo, and after a big win, sometimes nobody showed up for work the next day. 😂 I’ve watched the World Cup for years, but tonight was my first live soccer match in the Bay Area. At the Oakland Coliseum, Oakland Roots SC defeated Phoenix Rising FC 3–0. Before the game, Marshawn Lynch joined the gathering outside the stadium to celebrate BEAST MODE 510, @beastmode graphic novel releasing in October 6, 2026. Kids tested their strength at a punching game, and Beast Mode shirts were tossed into the crowd during halftime. During warm-ups, former Golden State Warriors center @fezzyfel took photos with children on the field and stopped to talk with fans. Young fans also formed a tunnel to welcome the players, then walked onto the field hand in hand with them. Watching the kids reminded me of something I learned

Well, this happened. I was invited to join Google Search Profile via email, even though I already qualified back in June with over 170K followers on a single platform. When I finally connected my accounts, Google instantly verified my identity using my internet personality Knowledge Panel, which has been running strong since 2024, and automatically mapped out my entire social footprint across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube. I purposefully keep my author Knowledge Panel and author social profiles completely separate from my creator side, as much as possible. The best part is that the system actually respected those boundaries and attached it to the right entity instead of getting confused. I have way more followers across all these social profiles than I thought because I never counted 😂 but after spending so much time deep in the weeds studying how creators are understood across search and AI, seeing the system tie it all together in real time like this was a pretty fun mome

WHAT MAKES AN ANCIENT OBJECT PRICELESS? 🏺✨ I recently shared my first look at Treasures of the Pharaohs at the de Young, but one museum visit can hold far more stories than a single reel can tell. That is part of what gets lost when museum creator coverage is treated as a one post transaction. An exhibition isn’t simply a beautiful room to walk through, film and leave behind. Every object has a history. Every gallery has been curated to tell a larger story. And sometimes one tiny artifact can send you down an entirely different path than the monumental pieces surrounding it. So I’m returning to Treasures of the Pharaohs from another angle. This time, I’m looking at value. What makes one ancient object extraordinarily valuable? Is it gold? Rarity? Craftsmanship? Provenance? The person who once owned it? Or simply the fact that something so fragile survived thousands of years for us to see today? That is where museum storytelling becomes interesting to me. The first reel can create

THE CROISSANT THAT STARTED WITH A HIKE 🥐 In 2019, shortly after moving from Santa Rosa to San Francisco, I joined a hiking group. We agreed to meet at 7am outside the original Arsicault on Arguello Boulevard before setting off for a full day on the trails. When I arrived, a line was already stretching down the block. It was Saturday morning. People had their dogs with them; some were still in pajamas. Everyone was waiting for coffee and croissants. I was early, so I got in line to see what everyone knew that I didn’t. I texted the group to say I’d arrived, and suddenly my phone filled with pastry orders. I bought the croissants, met everyone outside, and headed off on my first hike with them. That was also my first taste of Arsicault. Today I visited the Civic Center location. I had a ham and cheese croissant and a vegetable galette. The galette was crisp, buttery, and savory, exactly the kind of pastry I love. I went to Arguello Boulevard looking for my hiking group. I left with a

FOUND THE MOST AESTHETIC HIDDEN COFFEE SPOT IN SF ☕️ Tucked along Maiden Lane behind The RealReal is Painted Leopard Coffee, a stylish little café I probably would have walked right past if I hadn’t known it was there. It feels almost hidden from the busier side of Union Square, with warm interiors, velvet seating and coffee tucked into one of the prettiest little streets in the city. @einstein.the.yorkie and I stopped during our morning walk, entered The RealReal through the back entrance on Maiden Lane, then settled into the velvet couch with a mocha. Funny enough, my history with The RealReal started before I ever visited the store. Last year, after I was hacked, I had to dramatically simplify my life and ended up consigning around 65 designer pieces, including shoes, handbags, gowns and clothing. Their team came directly to my home, went through my three closets and eventually left carrying dozens of enormous black luxury garment bags filled with pieces from my wardrobe. 😂 With

EVERYONE IS TEACHING CREATORS HOW TO GET FREE HOTEL STAYS. BUT WHO IS TEACHING HOTELS HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT CREATORS? ✨ I’ve worked with hotels, destinations, and tourism partners long before creator platforms made these partnerships widely accessible. Today, hotels have more creators to choose from than ever, but in 2026 a beautiful reel is no longer the entire equation. Two creators can create beautiful content and generate views. But their digital footprints may be completely different. Does Google understand what they’re known for? Do they publish beyond social media? DO THEY HAVE DIGITAL AUTHORITY? And when the campaign disappears from the social feed, what remains discoverable in AI search? Yesterday I showed a real example. I asked Google AI Mode a general San Francisco hotel discovery question without mentioning my name or SincerelySusye. Google associated me with San Francisco hospitality on its own and connected my creator identity with hotels and experiences I had cove

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER A CREATOR POSTS ABOUT YOUR HOTEL? ✨ For hotel PR and marketing teams, the value of a creator partnership may no longer end when the social post stops circulating. I asked Google AI Mode a non-branded discovery question: “Which San Francisco hotels are being recommended by local travel and lifestyle creators?” I did not mention my name or SincerelySusye in the query. Google independently connected Susye Weng-Reeder (SincerelySusye) with the category, then surfaced San Francisco hotels and experiences I have personally covered recently. But it didn’t simply return hotel names. It interpreted the properties through design, dining, experiences, creator context, audience, and who each hotel might appeal to. It even generated an “At-a-Glance Creator Comparison.” For hotel PR and marketing teams, this makes choosing the right creator more important than ever. Follower count is only one piece of the picture. Hotels should also look at what a creator is known for online,

WHEN LANGUAGE BECOMES THE LAST WITNESS TO A CIVILIZATION ✨ Long before Rome became an empire, the Etruscans shaped ancient Italy. Yet much of their culture was eventually absorbed into Roman identity, leaving behind a civilization we understand largely through fragments. The Etruscans: From the Heart of Ancient Italy at San Francisco’s Legion of Honor brings that world together through more than 150 objects. Gold jewelry, bronze sculpture, painted pottery and funerary treasures reveal a society known for trade, innovation and extraordinary craftsmanship. Especially striking is how advanced Etruscan women were for the seventh and sixth centuries BCE. They were literate, could inherit and own property, run businesses and participate in public life. As an immigrant, I understand how assimilation can absorb an identity without erasing the people themselves. Under Rome, Etruscan women and their descendants gradually became part of a new social order. As a former AP Spanish teacher and a

SURVIVING MONDAY THE RIGHT WAY 🐶✨ Sometimes you just need a quick escape and some puppy cuddles to get through a busy Monday. ——— A TYPICAL MONDAY IN SAN FRANCISCO ❤️ My morning began with a founder interview for an upcoming publication, followed by optimization work for my private consulting clients. Then a fire alarm interrupted the workday and sent everyone outside, so I relocated to a coffee shop and carried on. From there, @einstein.the.yorkie and I began our afternoon walk. This time, my four pound tour guide led me to Parc 55, a Hilton Hotel near Union Square. Kin Khao had not opened yet, so we continued to Cable 55 Bar. The staff told me that during last week’s heat wave, guests filled the lounge for happy hour and stayed for hours, enjoying the cool, comfortable air-conditioned space. I could understand why. We ordered the crispy fried cauliflower with buffalo sauce. It was so savory and substantial that it ate almost like a main course. The corn chowder was rich and com
