The reason why I’ll always be reluctant to try a trello replacement tool or any yt extension made by anyone in the yta space is because I don’t trust y’all with my channels 😭

6/ No, you’re not going to build the next VidRush overnight. But you can get surprisingly close to having your own homemade version that handles your channels, follows your exact workflow, and produces videos for extremely cheap. That’s basically what I did.

4/ Let it design the solution first. Don’t immediately tell it to start coding. Ask it to break the workflow down, figure out what APIs and tools are needed, propose a few approaches, and explain the cost and limitations of each one. (Plan mode is your best friend). 5/ Pick the approach that makes the most sense for you. You’re probably going to go back and forth with it a lot. Build one part, test it, fix what breaks, then move on to the next part.

3/ Send it examples of videos you want to replicate. Not just the topic. Show it the exact editing style, pacing, footage usage, captions, transitions, music, structure, and everything else you want the final output to resemble.

1/ Install Codex or Claude Code on your computer. I personally prefer Codex, but either one works. 2/ Explain exactly what you’re trying to build. What kind of videos you want to make, how long they are, how many you need per day, what parts should be automated, and what your team will still handle manually. The more context you give it, the better.

Been getting countless DMs asking how I made the automatic video tool. It’s not insanely hard to build, but it will take some effort. 🧵Here’s the basic process:
