Six years of hard work, dedication, and showing up. Kimchi & Jollof is more than just a name to us. It has been an outlet for us to express ourselves and to share our story, our creativity, and our cultures. Over the years, we’ve been incredibly grateful for every opportunity, milestone, recognition, and brand partner who believed in our vision. We also especially grateful for this community. This past week has given us a lot of time to reflect. The messages, comments, reposts, texts, prayers, and encouragement have meant more than we can put into words. Thank you for standing with us during this time. As creatives, we are deeply connected to the things we build, we know what it means to pour one’s heart into something and nurture it into existence. That’s why this season has been especially difficult. The past few weeks have been challenging and heartbreaking at times, but it has also reminded us why we started in the first place. At our core, we’re storytellers. We’re creators.

Our only request from day one: change the name to avoid confusion with our brand, content, and community. We appreciate everyone who has shown support and understanding as we continue navigating this We will continue to keep you updated as we are able to.
