Lost my Grandma this past weekend ❤️ I’ve never been good at goodbyes, so I learned to tell stories to keep memories alive. The late, great Cloris Leachman played my Grandma and this side-by-side always makes me laugh ✨ We are here for a brief moment in time so, as my Grandma would recommend…”stay positive and always have dessert.”

Happy Thanksgiving! Sending much love and appreciation ❤️ Thanks for all the Lez Bomb messages, they warm my heart. The project means so much to me because each member of the team became family as they depicted my own. We shot the film in my childhood home in fifteen days. So each Thanksgiving, going home for the holiday feels like returning to set (for better or worse) as the soundtrack of the holiday and my family comes to life. I made such incredible friends on the project who continue to inspire me and bring so much joy. The collaboration was magic and a reminder of the alchemy in story and team. The industry, like life, can be wildly unpredictable, with ups and downs and everything in between. But when you surround yourself with those who push you to expand and reach for your highest expression, make you laugh, push your buttons, and bring light to your life, the ride is beautiful, no matter the view. My relationship to flying has been an on-going journey. It’s something I’ve been working with for years, using flights (when I have to take them) as a way to reflect upon where I am internally. It’s the one thing that really triggers my fear response, and through that, it’s often offered powerful moments of clarity. Because I have to fly so much, I decided to take flying lessons as a way to confront the fear, team with it, and collaborate with it as a way to grow. I start next week. So I was absolutely DELIGHTED when I was boarding yesterday’s plane, and the pilot randomly asked me if I wanted to come up to the cockpit. I was like “YES.” We talked through my fears, and I told him I start flying lessons next week. He was excited. I was excited. It was such a serendipitous moment.
