This was a very hard read for me primary because of the lack of editing. The inconsistency of the story telling (where in one sentence Nora is sitting and 3 sentences later she is miraculously standing) with no transition in writing between the scenes - - is VERY hard to swallow. Unless the laws of physics have changed, this is not feasible! It also robs you on what Nora may be thinking through her posture. Because the storyline IS a very good concept, I was willing to overlook these editing errors. But, by the time I got through the first 100 pages, I found myself more upset about the writing errors then ANY enjoyment I was getting from reading the book. At this point I decided to put this book down and not read it any longer. This is sad because it is a good story. I hope Matt Haig’s next story is edited to a point where it is readable.
