I truly enjoyed using the skip function to get through large portions of this film. As it is Spring, I am especially appreciative of the dialogue as it is sure to help my plants grow. As for the quality of the acting: if I could find a way to capture it as a physical object, I would have enough firewood to keep me warm all Winter long. I can't think of a use for it during the other two seasons, so half off my rating. Do better next time! Better yet, let's hope there's no next time.

Giving a star for likable characters. Other than that, Pixar has suffered from association with Disney. This was a cookie cutter coming of age story. While it might resonate with the audience (good) it was so terribly, painfully predictable that it was bad on ballance. I don't hate that I watched it, but cannot recommend it at all.

Watched it all. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth it. I get making changes to deal with different media, or to tighten up a story, but the changes between the original and this only detract. I watched it with someone not at all familiar with the Discworld series, and she made comments about the story not hanging together. Just plain bad.
