Michael Keaton (playing Ray Kroc) does an absolutely fabulous job of portraying a motivated, business minded visionary salesman who took a one location hamburger joint and built it into the worldwide mountain of a business we know today. According to the plot of the movie, Ray Kroc offered the McDonald brothers multiple opportunities to join him in his vision for the company, only to be rejected every time. Their rejection of Ray Kroc's new, efficient, and business oriented ideas caused the McDonald brothers to lose opportunity after opportunity. If the McDonald brothers had joined Ray in his efforts to grow and expand, they would have shared in the company's success, and would have been beneficiaries of Ray Kroc's inspired influence. Although the McDonald brother's model for their business was efficient and worked well, their obstinate and narrow minded stubbornness caused them to lose the opportunity to be a part of what is today the corporate giant known around the world.
