Ryder Clarson

I was debating whether to give this 2 or 3 stars. It's a really good concept, but it isn't carried out well. The concept of a cult, and the girl being stuck inside of the cult is a really good concept, and I love how there are two male leads, both of who are two of my favorite actors. I would say you should watch it because the first time I watched it I was so immersed in the show that I didn't see all of the problems with it. It was only the second time that I watched it that I noticed all of this: I think one of my main problems with the show is that they set the entire show up for a romance, but then there isn't one when they could have literally changed 2 scenes and finished it with a romance. I don't mind shows without romances, I just thought they set it up so much that they should have done one. My second problem with the show is the lack of character background and development. I think the only characters that were given proper, full backgrounds in the position they were in would be Sang-mi, Dong-cheol, and Sang-mi's parents, and maybe the journalist. Sang-Hwan, who was one of the male leads did not have a well-developed enough background. The acting is amazing, but the storyline and characters do not meet my standards, and though my standards may be high, this is my opinion.
