Such a shame this film has received such backlash and criticism for being racist and derogatory. Both myself and teenage son thought it was superb. Johnny Depp certainly does justice to Tonto and the movie depicts the unscrupulous morals and greed of white men involved in the building of railroads and mining of precious metals. The cinematography was incredible and although the story navigates through some pretty horrific violence and innuendo the humour woven throughout made me laugh out loud several times. Brilliant cast, beautiful scenery with some great stunts and a cracking soundtrack. A great movie for the whole family that maybe people should just not take so seriously, enjoy it for what it is! Definitely recommend.
