This movie was a big disappointment ! I’m not a fan animation being remade with a live cast BUT seeing as how the main cast were very good actors and actresses I was excited. The movie was NOT the same as the original, the plot had things that didn’t make sense or was just unnecessary extra things that didn’t need to be added into the movie, there was no character development, minimal comedic relief, no real understanding of why they were fighting, what “chi” was, culture was very different but they tried to hard to relate it to the original movie which felt forced. The witch didn’t need to be in the movie...especially for her to die the way she did....trashy. I will give credit to the fighting scenes, the colors, and the outfits! Absolutely gorgeous. I will also give credit to the relationship of Mulan and her father. Parts were weird but was lovely.
