Highly anticipated game for everybody!! The first game blew everybody’s mind with an amazing story, immaculately polished with loads of heart. This game is graphically impressive & has great sfx, but after a while you realise that the (expected) linear maps are incredibly bland. There is almost zero interaction. The story is fairly weak considering the spectacular brand that “the last of us” represents. It doesn’t take long to figure out that this game is not actually fun at all. The hardest part for me to get over, is Ellie. She is distant, incredibly internalised, very hard to feel attached to, Almost soul-less. Shame that Joel isn’t around to kickass along side Ellie either?? They worked well together in 1. The story line just was patched together & doesn’t have any flow or substance. Disappointing!! Seemed like the whole focus of the game was to say that woke is more important that gameplay... ...it isn’t! I’ll be returning back to the game shop tomorrow after playing it for 7 hours already. Wasn’t my thing ... I tried tho!
