Broke my heart. Period. I listened to the argument that basically boiled down to the fact that we do in fact have to eat. I was forced to understand that and regardless of my love for animals, it is true and it is very much so a valid argument. However, as a Black woman, who sees Africa invaded by Whites, who hire locals (because they know they need money) to kill for SPORT? It sickened me. To see the safari convention, to see children being raised to learn how to kill for SPORT was emotionally traumatizing. To see various tribes and families be deceived, it only confirmed what we already know - Black people were robbed of our history, robbed of our lands and tricked simply for gain and greed.
Just look deeply at the mind and motive behind these hunters who do it for sport- more often than not, you'll find a very twisted mindset which inevitably reveals both racism, abuse and an unquenchable desire to remain powerful by any means necessary.
