This book The Searcher was the first book I read by Tana French. I surprised myself by finishing it as I found the language very offensive. I was drawn to it as it was set in Dublin and Northern Ireland is my homeland. If you are okay with the “F” word on just about every page and the Lord’s name taken in vain on nearly every page then this is for you. As for me I won’t be reading this author again. I am glad I borrowed the book from our e-library and didn’t spend the money on it. To each his own but this book is not for me. Andrina Rawlins February 28, 2021
