This game shaped me as a child, and must of made an effect on myself today. It offers a simple premise, go out to Cabela's , then buy a hunting permit, and you are off to parts of Africa and North America. It is an open world game where you attempt to hunt in places without being eaten alive by lions, bears, coyotes or whatever animal scares you most. Cabela's outdoor adventures or Cabela's deer hunt 2004 are good games as well, but they don't have the fast paced, tooth and nail gameplay of this incredible game. What contributes to this games fast paced gameplay is the inclusion of knifes as defense weapons against constant vicious animal attacks, a lack of auto aim, and a focus on out of stand, stalk hunting. If you have never gone hunting at all in your life, thats ok, because you can still without knowledge have so much fun with this game.
Thank you Sand grain studios for childhood memories, same goes with fun labs.
Important notes, the graphics are bad because its a game from 2003
