This movie is everything that’s wrong with cinema today. The plot is a mess and it relies heavily on bad CGI and jump scares rather than an atmosphere that makes you heart race with fear and anxiety. People comparing this to the exorcist don’t understand what made that film a cult classic. I guess for the genre it is bearable but it isn’t great by any means. Something to pass the time?

This movie is beautiful and if that’s all you need to be wowed and entertained you’ll love this. However, if you’re expecting good story telling, character development, and a premise unique to justify the need for a sequel then you might be as disappointed as I am with this film. It was boring. Repackaged garbage with a new desired resource, change of scenery, and a few new characters. I seriously don’t understand the review that praise this film, it’s bad and a waste of hours of my life.

Very fun and eerie film; I wouldn’t say it’s original or unpredictable. I pretty much knew there was going to be a scare every time and I predicted a few of them but enjoyable nonetheless. It draws a lot of inspiration from films like the ring, because of the 7 days, truth or dare because of creepy smile was introduced in that film, and room 1408, for the life like hallucinations. It is setup for a sequel or prequel and I definitely think a franchise is following. I’d give it 4,5 - hard to give a perfect score because personally it didn’t feel that innovative. I’d recommend watching without seeing the trailer because per usual the trailer gives away the entire film in a condensed version and I’m thankful I saw the film first.

Of course it’s canceled, seriously one of the best Sci-fi shows of the year and despite positive reviews- wasn’t significantly impactful enough for Amazon to justify the cost. Bummer because it was intriguing, had a great cast, and that ending really had me wanting more! 😢

Just another film about insufferable white privileged people capitalizing on oppressed people. It’s a high key politically heated film with sprinkles of LGBTQ+, BLM, internet clout, while low key continuously spewing the same rhetoric summing up all white people as being heartless, uncompassionate, evildoers. Just ends up dividing people more. Who gets off on stories like this? IMO just spreads hate not kindness. Terrible story, with bad acting and hyper cliché drame. If you love discussing/watching re WOKE culture then this is the film for you.

If I could binge it, I would! It’s so good, can’t wait to discover this mystery- honestly I have no idea.

I thought season 1 was interesting but not great and I didn't end up watching season 2 until just a couple days before season 3...with that being said, season 2 was great and I was looking forward to the new season, but I was really really disappointed. I didn't like it at all. I think the show has lost it's focus, it's become more of a drama than a sci-fi...and the premise just keeps repeating. It's getting old and most of the characters have become whiney and annoying, which detracts from the core. I didn't care for any of the new characters either, 😕 super strength, flying, crows? Wow, creative 👏 👌 really, bravo! Too bad

This film had a lot of potential. It has a black mirror vibe and was pretty entertaining but the ending was really bad, ruined what could've been a great film.

I put this on not expecting much but this show is PHENOMENAL. Truly one of the best shows I've seen in a while, great story, intense scenes, and genuinely entertaining. Sad I can't binge it, but should worth the wait each week.

Pretty good, didn't think I would enjoy this but I liked the plot...just a bit of a slow burn.
