It's super cute, but INCREDIBLY tedious. If I wasn't unemployed I would probably not have the time to grind and grind and grind to pay off my debts. As it is, I've played for months at a time and still only paid off 2 rooms in my house. Compared to New Leaf, critters spawn pretty rarely. Prices are also ridiculously inflated compared to New Leaf, with some chairs selling for tens of thousands of bells. A chair!! Mostly I'm just annoyed at the grinding aspect. Not everyone has hours every day to play, and not everyone wants to play the same game for multiple years. Also the breakable tools is the stupidest game idea ever, sorry Nintendo.
