Pros: A moving film with raw emotion that celebrates a blues pioneer, and taps into the ugly reality of social/racial issues of then and now. Superb cast. Excellent acting. Stellar performances by Chadwick Boseman and Viola Davis.
Cons: Overkill with all that cursing God. Especially knowing that Chadwick Boseman was a God-fearing man. And the film could have been longer. Sigh...
