Meh. Mainly boring old washed-up cookie-cutter punks, still basking in the "fame" of being in some small time, minor, insignificant hardcore band decades ago reminiscing about how cool it all was - Yeah, maaan - the politics, the cops, F the corporations, the drugs, squats, blah, blah. (Yawn - I hate nostalgia - move on already), plus some other Sid Vicious wannabes glamourising the heroin scene.
I remember the way some of these pricks destroyed rental properties & squats back in the day while suckling off the state's teat for dole money to fund their smack, booze & rent. Chaos, maaan! AnARcHy! Punk rock! Ugh.
And why give screentime to that sociopathic lowlife Jason Cardwell (Bastard Squad)? He murdered his sleeping girlfriend Elizabeth Woodhouse with a baseball bat, for chrisakes. That POS doesn't deserve freedom - he deserves a rope above a trapdoor.
Some like to romanticise this cliquey period for some reason but most of the punks from this generation grew up & joined the rat race & got mortgages, while some tragics became antivaxxers, conspiracy theorists, hippy alt-lifestylers, etc who never progressed away from their young adult heyday. And now, as they age with no means to support themselves, they'll once again suck on the teat of the evil state to dole out the tax payer funded old age pension. Yeah, so cooool, man. So DIY. So independent. So punk! Lol.
However, there's some interesting photos & videos that might interest those that were in the photos or directly involved within those particular cliques, but otherwise it's a bore with nothing about the exciting music that was being churned out at the time.
