This is a terrible movie. The reason why this movie received so much hype was because of the same old white actors from white Hollywood, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio. This is definitely a waste of time and money. I cannot believe I spent money on this movie. Not only did Quentin Tarantino made a terrible movie again he also had to try to bring down every Asian icon with every racist garbage movie he produced. Tarantino has received so much backlash for his racist attempt to smear Bruce Lee's legacy by portraying him as an arrogant, self centered star in white Hollywood who didn't care about his fellow stuntmen when Bruce Lee is actually well known for being very considerate to everybody on set backed by his colleague actors, close friends, his biographer, family. Bruce Lee was known to be considerate and gentle person and he was a respectful figure that practice what he preached. This is the last reminiscence of Tarantino's racist depiction of the already marginalized Asian community. I 100% would not recommend this movie. Don't waste your time and money on this.

This is such a great movie. Aaliyah and Jet Li's acting was superb. Even though the almost all of the low ratings came from white film critics with their own agenda it still wasn't able to downplay the cultural significance of overcoming the barriers of interracial love and the unity between the black and Asian community. It kinds of tell you how even back then most of the film's rating are dictated by rich White men who will deliberately downplay films that doesn't fit their narrative or their ideal version of the world. I definitely recommend this film 10/10.
