Exactly as unoriginal as it sounds. I have seen better versions of this plot with better writing and acting. Not impressed.

Beautiful visual effects and solid acting. The story is WAY better than the original animation. I absolutely love the character of Maleficent, and the relationship between her and Aurora. My favorite thing about this movie is that the changes to the story empower the female characters! Fun movie for the whole family!!

I thought it was a good movie. Intense and suspenseful. The ending surprised me; I just didn't expect it. If you are a fan of horror, I recommend this move.
