So nice to watch a movie that manages to be a new story and pays homage to movie greats at the same time. Chris Pine’s willingness to be weird and vulnerable and goofy makes the story so engaging. This is a movie that joins films like Chinatown and L.A. Confidential in being a love letter to Los Angeles and Angelinos.

Honestly, I would watch a show watching RuPaul watching paint dry! But I was so happy to see such a well developed storyline. And Izzy G.!!! She is amazing!! It was so wonderful to watch the relationship between AJ and the Queen evolve and watch them fall in love with each other. Michael-Leon Woolley as CoCo Butter is just as delicious as the drag name implies. Pouring the Diet Coke mostly on the table and partially into the glass with absolutely no concern for where the beverage winds up made me laugh out loud!! When is Season 2?!?! Thank you, RuPaul!
