The English dubbing is very badly done. The writing, plot, acting, directing is like a soap from the 80's. What is interesting is observing the differences in Russian Vs US police procedurals. It got a bit tedious by the 13th episode, but I hung out till the end of all 16.

It was definitely worth watching. Hawke is riveting. Its a pensive, reflective, powerful depiction of so many losses; personal, environmental, spiritual, moral, political. The movie loses it's way, just as we all have, and leads us to the very depths of dispair before it blindly opens a door to hope.
