There were far too many "F*** you movie" moments in this, starting in the supermarket, and by the time of the final events in the house, the "Five Years Later" just becomes a sick joke. They wouldn't have made it five days later, the particular set of rules established for this apocalypse utterly preclude any kind of long term survival of the protagonist or the final survivors, regardless of the utterly predictable "twist" that ignores every fatal flaw, from lack of food on. Manipulative and cheap on every level.
