I think this series is great, if you've never read the books and didn't love them. As an avid fan of the books, I could ignore some of the plot changes, the obvious attempt to be politically correct in all the casting and so forth (plenty about that in other write-ups), but the glaring fast forward in episode 5, ignoring Perrins vital character growth/revelation and completely missing Caemlyn and an important meeting by Rand of three further important characters was too much. Including the Ogier being human-sized.
