Played UFC and UFC 2 for years. Always felt the combat was too archaic and the submission controls were too complicated. In UFC 2 the perry was too cartoonish. That said, I was always a fan of those games. I never played UFC 3 but I imagine there wasn't a huge difference from UFC 2. UFC 4 has been a pleasant surprise. The combat is realistic and easy to learn - as is the grappling! The career mode is better and easy to progress through. All in all I am very pleased with UFC 4.
