Re: episode 76 "Hard bargain picks". The producers might want to get their facts checked before having someone state claims about a piece not being old or faked. I'm referring to Robbies claims that the barnstorming sign was a repro or a fake. .
From Wikipedia, last paragraph on bloomers
Undergarments
Women's baggy underpants fastened to just below or above the knee are also known as "bloomers" (or as "knickers" or "directoire knickers"). They were most popular from the 1910s to the 1930s but continued to be worn by older women for several decades thereafter. Often the term "bloomers" has been used interchangeably with the pantalettes worn by women and girls in the mid 19th century and the open leg knee length drawers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Barnstorming, also from Wikipedia:
Barnstormers offered plane rides for a small fee; Charles Lindbergh, for example, charged five dollars for a 15-minute ride in his plane.[3]
Robbie claims people wouldn't pay a dollar for a plane ride. Apparently many did.
Love the show, but check your facts!
