Really liked this short & sweet thriller! VERY good acting about some generally very decent but also flawed people. I thought it was smart and thought-provoking. A few moments of “Why the HELL would you do THAT when all this WEIRD SHIT is going on! RUN!!” But all-in-all, a really solid thriller/drama/horror that I would definitely recommend.

Ugh. First half - lots of “gross,” but also quite masterful and entertaining, with cool camera angles and quirkiness. Last half - pointless, bloodbath-y, disturbing, gory, disgusting, overkill, and nonsensical, PLUS I’m literally dry heaving. What is WRONG with you people. I feel sick.

Ugh. I love The Rock! But what the heck! Great cast, and some really cool cinematography/filming (especially in the depiction of the North Pole, Santa’s sleigh, etc.), but this movie was a real dud. It was all over the place. Too much going on. No substance. Very forgettable. And, alas, ultimately boring. Almost like they tried too hard. On the plus side - The Rock is still so hot!

Was SO looking forward to this movie! Wonderful cast, seemingly interesting concept, gorgeous cinematography, etc. What a letdown. It’s pretentious and self-important and WAY overwrought with leftist agenda. Enough with the constant lecturing, Hollywood! Just entertain me, please! And the non-ending? So frustrating. What was this all about? Gets lost in its “cleverness.” Blah. Sigh.

Could have been SO fun! I had high hopes, and the trailers were inviting. A few bright, clever, and very funny spots. But I left feeling mostly just irritated by the over-preachy, long-winded “message” about how victimized we women are by unintelligent, undeserving “he-men.” It didn’t need to bash males so fervently in order to make the point that women are amazing. Disappointing. And, as I said, it could have been SO much fun.

Well-made, amazing acting, beautiful cinematography, thrilling story. Loved it! Best movie I’ve seen in awhile.

Really rather silly. And so much is unexplained and far-fetched. The scenery is gorgeous. But the rest is pretty preposterous. I love a good thriller and had high hopes based on the trailer. But this was a crummy movie.
