Unflinching, brutal, and an unexpected measure of heart. You really feel that the author knows his way around meth addiction, relationships, and zombie apocalypses to a degree that can only be derived from having been through all of it. Great, page-turning read. But, be warned, it may break your heart a few times along the way.
