This was actually a pretty big letdown. I was really excited to see where they took the story line. There were some major plot holes. They are trying to break into a facility and the premise is that to get in, they have to do all these overly complicated things going through pipes, etc to get to a pod and get the first character in there. But then the second person is able to more or less sneak in on a sentinel. The effects and fight scenes were also a let down. A lot of it just felt reductive. The first “flying” scene towards the end looked like something a high school production of The Matrix: The Musical could have pulled off. The original movie was something I enjoyed watching more times than I can even count. I barely made it halfway before through this film before I wanted to find something else to do.
