Edward Masso

Really nicely done series, reminiscent of Northern Exposure but not comedic. The acting is superb and the plot transitions are very well done. The plot flash-backs seem too numerous for my liking but are necessary to provide character context vis-a-vis a backstory that would likely have been awkward to write or develop. As a veteran myself, the combat scene flashbacks were too numerous for my preference. I watched the series in one sitting and was surprised and disappointed when it ended. All actors performed superbly. I hope the flashback technique is better managed in season two or left out all together.
