I stumbled upon this show on Facebook where a glimpse of the series was offered. I am an avid fan of anything Biblical as long as it is Bible based. In watching Episode 1, I was immediately taken with "The Chosen" for it is a very real depiction of not only humanity with all its flaws, doubts and fears but of Jesus being so genuine and loving as a human being one can't avoid being drawn to Him. Gone is the stoic character who never blinks his eyes or the solemn-faced statue-like Jesus in so many other films. This series was well cast as everyone is extraordinary, especially Jonathan as Yeshua and they bring a quality of character and performance that is unique. Dallas Jenkins has truly brought an amazing film to the waiting eyes of its viewers and I can't wait to see further episodes. I plan on "paying it forward" for this series needs to be seen around the whole world!
