Superb filmmaking of the highest quality. 3.5 hours flew by. An excellent example of what can be achieved when a director makes the film they want, rather than succumbing to the commercial constraints that frustrate so many. The groundbreaking anti-ageing technology works extremely well, despite the younger versions seeming a little wooden at times due to the apparent difficulty in adapting the actors genuinely aged physicality’s to satisfy those of decades younger characters. A minor glitch in otherwise perfectly nuanced, subtle and insightful performances.
