I love the representation of this show, the realism too. I like how the skin texture, acne is normalised in this! The chemistry between Wilhelm and Simon feels so real, you get very invested, not even just their relationship but in all of theirs! I am so connected to this show, I went through a rollercoaster of emotions during each episode. How each character has flaws also really pulled me in, how none of them are perfect, even the main character, Wilhelm messes up, Simon too. All of them were written perfectly. This show makes you pity people but then hate them the next minute, then you love them, even their flaws. I definitely need a season 2, I’m attached now, and I can’t let go. I hope Netflix doesn’t cancel this show like many other great ones. Young royals truly is amazing, a season 2 and maybe even more but I don’t want to ask for much, would be amazing, any young royals fan would be ecstatic for another season!
