Incredibly disappointing. The cast is obviously full of amazing actors and actresses and I think they do the best they can given the material. This show heavy handedly and clumsily delivers the messages about the complexity of human interactions. The book is so perfect in the way it the characters interact, and how their past experiences influence who they are today and how they perceive the events going on. Everyone is a little bit good and a little bit bad, but in the show it’s clear who you’re supposed to like and not like.
