First off, lack of the a mystery Inc made it not feel like a Scooby Doo movie, some people have said "it feels more like Scooby then most of the recent ones" but without Fred, Velma and Daphne in for the whole this made this less than true. Reinventing dick into a well off Superhero-type villan, rather than comedy aspect killed the next bit off. Turning Blue Falcon into a out of it Gen X who gets helped by an intelligent POC feminist, who is there just as the "true hero", without her it would have been unsolved (Velma is supposed to do that). They got Captain caveman in there (pretty much the only character I didn't have a problem in) for some reason. Looking at it Fred, dick, blue falcon and Shaggy all were weak, snoveling white men; whereas Scoob, Daphne, DeeDee, Velma and Dynomutt were life less or hero's. All in all for the first 5 minutes I liked it, even if it had a bad animated Cop in or autotuned song. And then quickly unraveled when Simon Cowel came in and Scooby and Shaggy got kidnapped by superheroes. So that's why I gave it a 2/5.
