This fictional book about fireman Mitch was so real to life and the story line so easy to believe that I did not want to put it down. The contrast between life in rural Wisconsin and inner city Milwaukee was authentic and moving. So many publishers missed the boat on this one except for a local publisher in Milwaukee. Good for them! Thanks to the Wisconsin born and former Milwaukee fireman for his dedicated authorship and endurance to have the book published. All age groups can enjoy and learn a lot from this book about people, inner cities, prejudices and the common man.
