I couldn’t get past the second episode because of how bad Kate Beckinsale acting was. It seems as if she was incapable of showing any true emotion. On top of the bad acting, the writing was full of cliches & it was also unrealistic. She keeps finding clue after clue somewhat easily. This depressed woman in Wales has a tan as if she was vacationing on a tropical island. When a woman refuses to tell her some information, her next step is to abduct this woman’s daughter & the woman gives her the answer she wanted after she has her daughter back safe & sound. What utter bull$@!? That woman would have beat her skinny butt in the parking lot. When all I wanted was for the main character to be killed, is the time I decided that watching the rest of the series would not be worth my while. I am amazed by how many reviewers said the acting was great, because it couldn’t be further from the truth.
