This is an unusual story as the name suggests. What I feel this is not everyone's cup of tea. They have taken up mental health issues, but then the way they dealt with it, NO! The story is unconventional but to execute it comes with flaws. Like the case if you are taking up Bihar, but then choose to show the stereotypes, doesn't land well. Some scenes are totally illogical, like the hero falling in love in like when, the girl staying in a boys hostel without anyone having any objections, people (the whole hostel) play along for their love story etc. But then there is Dhanush, who kinda saves the story. He acts, dances, emotes with his eyes. Uff! His Tamil monologues, really appreciate that. Thank God no stereotyping there. Talking about Sara, I like her intro where is shown as a fiery girl, but her Bihari accent falls flat, but she tries, her Manish Malhotra outfits might trend. Akshay Kumar might have been added for star value, but I am finally happy to see him in a role suited for his age. The best part of this movie is AR Rahman. His songs are all beautiful, even the background score. Irshad Kamil and him work and create magic! Would I recommend this movie, well its different, so you can give it a watch not expecting much.
